Zero-emission zones are pushing diesel generators out of city centres, and grid congestion means a temporary connection often simply isn't available. Temporary sites need clean power — without the drawbacks of the existing alternatives.

How that works
A generator that is officially a vehicle.
The Altair Power Pack is fitted as a body onto a standard electric chassis-cab vehicle. Through full vehicle homologation, the result is certified as a fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV).
That is the difference: as a certified vehicle, the permit obligations that apply to stationary hydrogen installations don't apply. Hydrogen is simply refuelled at a public station, at a lower price than hydrogen delivered in bottle packs.
