Altair Power
Develops and builds the Altair Power Pack: integrating the fuel cell, hydrogen storage and power electronics onto an electric chassis-cab vehicle, including homologation as a hydrogen vehicle.

Together with Green Planet and Bork Sloop & Milieu, Altair Power is developing the Altair Power Pack: a compact, mobile generator running on green hydrogen as a replacement for diesel generator sets.
The unit delivers off-grid power (three-phase AC and DC fast charging) for heavy electric equipment on construction and demolition sites among others. It is built on an electric chassis-cab vehicle and stays light enough to be driven on a category B licence. Refuelling takes place at existing hydrogen stations, such as Green Planet's in Pesse; validation in practice takes place at Bork's project locations.
The project runs from November 2025 to November 2027 and covers the design, the build of a first prototype, homologation with the RDW and validation in the field. The goal: to demonstrate that mobile hydrogen power is a reliable, safe and fully emission-free alternative to diesel generator sets, saving up to roughly 150 tonnes of CO₂ per unit per year.

The parts for the first Altair Power Pack have arrived and assembly is well under way. Once built, the system is commissioned step by step: fuel cell, hydrogen storage, cooling and power electronics are each tested in turn.
The main design of the Altair Power Pack has been established: the layout of the body, the high- and low-voltage architecture and the cooling system are settled. That allowed production of the first parts to start.
